I have been part of the veterinary industry for almost 10 years and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2018. I started at the deep end and working at a super busy charity animal hospital where I gained so much experience.
In January 2022 I started at Barrier as a Registered Veterinary Nurse and became the Head Nurse in April 2022.
My main responsibilities include managing the nursing team providing the nursing care to the pets that come into the practice. I am also a Clinical Coach, so I’m supporting our student Hang through her training.
I am passionate about animal welfare and the interesting surgical cases that come into the clinic and have also done a course in Schedule 3 procedures, which means I can even do some minor procedures.
Outside of the practice I like painting, hanging out with friends and family and spending time with my cats Rosie and Jeff.
