Kathryn Adjei

I have been part of the veterinary industry for over 10 years, working my way up from a volunteer, to a student and then as a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2018.

In January 2022 I started at Barrier as a Registered Veterinary Nurse and became the Head Nurse in April 2022.

I manage the nursing and admin team and provide nursing care to pets that come into the practice. I am also a Clinical Coach, so I’m supporting our student Hang through her training.

I am very passionate about animal welfare and providing gold standard care to all pets. I have also done a course in Schedule 3 procedures, which means I can carry out some minor surgical procedures.

Outside of the practice I love painting and cross stitch and hanging out with friends and family. I especially enjoy spending time at home with my partner and my 2 cats Rosie and Jeff.
